Every week, someone inevitably asks me how they can "make sense of the news."
It's a fair question; there is so much produced — every hour, every day — and most of it is noise. Headlines compete for attention. Facts blur with opinion. Even good reporting can get lost in the churn.
That’s why I started a short monthly email.
In it, I share the articles, op-eds, and commentary that stood out to me—pieces worth reading because their authors cut through the noise and helped explain the bigger picture.
In the beginning I sent this to friends or family who wanted to know what I was reading with a sentence or two on why I liked it.
I can send it to you too.
Each month, I'll send 5 to 10 of my favorite recent articles and stories, each with a short summary and 1-2 sentences with my thoughts on why it's worth your time.
The goal is simple: less time searching, more time understanding.
